James Jenkins Obituary

James Jenkins Jr. CHESAPEAKE - James Jenkins Jr., 73, of the 3000 block of Camelot Blvd., died peacefully at his residence Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2010 surrounded by his wife, children and family. Mr. Jenkins was born in Louann, Ark., July 31, 1937. Mr. Jenkins is survived by his loving and very devoted wife of 49 years, Carrie Jenkins; a devoted daughter, Regina (Jenkins) Blunt of Portsmouth; two devoted sons, Stephen Jenkins and daughter-in-law Ebony of Norfolk, and Aaron Flood-Jenkins of Chesapeake; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. The funeral will be conducted at Corprew Funeral Home, Portsmouth on Saturday, Dec. 4, at 10 a.m. The Rev. Joe B. Fleming will be performing the eulogy. Intermittent burial will follow in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake.
