Frank Opdyke Obituary

Frank B. Opdyke VIRGINIA BEACH - Frank B. Opdyke, 74, formerly of Virginia Beach, died Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2010. He was born March 26, 1936 in Pittsburgh to the late Bert and Marcella Opdyke. He was an active member of the Norfolk Elks Lodge, where he served as Exalted Ruler and later retired to Henderson, Nev. He is survived by his former wife, Dorothy Opdyke; three sons; two daughters; 10 grandchildren; and a sister. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Richard Opdyke and Regis Ferson. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Dec. 4, at Jefferson Memorial Cemetery, 401 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh.
