My deepest condolences to the Simpson family. I served with Fred back in the 60s in Vicenza Italy and I'm sorry to say we reconnected just a short few months ago after more than forty years. From the emails he sent me I could tell he was a proud veteran and proud to serve his country.

To my Aunt Valerie, and to my cousins Freddy and Sherry, words cannot express my shock over the loss of Uncle Freddy, but I can scarcely imagine how hard this must be for you. My thoughts and prayers are with each of you, and I hope you all know that I love you very much.

To my awesome father, my dad, I will miss you greatly. You are such a great man and always have been. I will always cherish our moments...you teaching me how to ride a bike, how to drive a stick shift (so patiently I must add), how to march and salute when I was in R.O.T.C, how to use a pressure cooker and check the oil in the truck...there are so many things that I will always remember and that will live on with me as I continue through life. You worked so hard and took care of all of us. Now it's time to relax. I will always be your little girl, as you loved to say. I miss you so much. Please say hi to Grandmama, Granddaddy John, Papaw and Karen Denise for me. Love you always.
