Cynthia and I will miss Fred so much. He was an inspiration and a fun person to be with. I am glad he could be Katie's grandfather. He was the best. I have the comfort that we will always be aware of him in our lives.
Love, Steve

What a great friend and what a great loss. From being at our wedding 38 years ago until now, you and Martie could not have been closer to our hearts. We miss you Fred but we'll see you again...God Bless you and the family.

Words cannot convey our heartfelt condolences for you all. Fred holds such a special place in our hearts! We will always remember the special visit he made to Greensboro a few years back; he joined us for dinner and the kid's entertainment - he asked that they call him "Uncle Fred". Our son, Freddie, thought that was the best.
Your family has always opened your hearts and doors to ours. Know that our doors and hearts are always open to you! You will be in our thoughts and prayers.
Kathy, Mike, Alix, and Freddie

We have so many happy memories of Fred. He was just a great guy, and we will all miss him very much. Joe still remembers the many hours they spent on that sign, too many chiefs, no Indians! I will always remember when the choir provided dinner "entertainment" at SEAS with Fred as a chorus boy in a sailor hat. Lots of happy memories!
