Margaret F. Knox
of Chenango Forks
Margaret F. Knox, 87, of Chenango Forks died peacefully at Gilmore Nursing Home in Norwich on Friday, July 4. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert; and her parents, Catharine and Otis Fredenburg. She is survived by her beloved friends, Ted and Cheri Wallace and family. Margaret retired from Chenango Valley High School where she taught math for over 25 years. She loved traveling and her cats, and she will be missed by the many friends who know her. A special thank you is extended to the staff of Gilmore Nursing Home for their compassionate care during Margaret's stay there.
A Committal Service will be held on Wednesday, July 9 at 11:00 a.m., at Vestal Hills Memorial Park Court of Time Mausoleum with Rev. Ron Wenzinger officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Wm. R. Chase and Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango St., Port Dickinson.

Mrs. Knox was a great math teacher and a great friend to talk with. With common sense & caring she worked through many a problem. She meant so very much to me as a young adult.
