I will always love this woman. Dr. Tirrell
kept a sign in her office saying
“ The only way out is through “
For so many years she never gave up on me.
I know she is in heaven and watching over.

I worked for Dr. Tirrell for eleven years and we shared all the ups and downs of our lives. She was an exceptional doctor who was dedicated to giving the most compassionate and knowledgeable care to her patients. She loved her family dearly - all the nieces and nephews, but especially her sister Mary Louise. I am privileged to have had her as a friend and will miss her, but as always, I carry cherished memories of our times together.

I had the honor to work with Dr. Tirrell at the clinic following the closure of her private practice. She was a caring practitioner and a pioneer in the field of psychiatry for her many patients who reveled in the light of her care.

I met Genevive in 2007 when our friendship blossomed while we were at hilltop rehab. She grasp onto our friendship, but after my discharge I didn't make it back to visit before she had been placed at another location. How sad It was that such a friendship could slip between the cracks. i trust that the brief time that we had was a rose in her garden, as she was certainly deserving of even more, i will miss you genevieve, but will cherish the time that god gave us. I am so grateful that you could feel you could share the intermost .

Dr. Tirrell was my wife, Louise's, doctor and friend. From 1984 until her death in 1999, Louise had a quality of life that she had not know for some time because of Dr. Tirrell. I will always be grateful to Dr. Tirrell for her care and friendship.

Loving wishes to the family of Dr Tirrill at this time. She worked with many of my students and thier families thru the special education programs of BOCES. Many times she would cover the costs when parents had no money to pay for her services. I shall always remember her kindness. I feel honored to have known her.
