Bob was a such a caring, hard working person on Matt's Campaign. I could always count on him. I was even happier to have him as a friend. He would often stop by my house, he said he would hear my laughter and know I was home. I will miss him.

Dear Bob & Marge, my heart is truly saddened by your loss. But, take note in the fact, As Bob's parents, you raised a son that through out his life gave Friendship,Joy, Laughter and amassed a huge following of friends. As parents, I think you did a pretty good job! Wish you and the rest of the family well.

I was in Binghamton about a month in a half ago and my Mom saw Bob somewhere around and they got to talking about myself and Big Bob. He gave my Mom a business card and asked that I get in touch with him. Unfortunately that did not happen and I am very saddened by that fact. One statement that he did make to her was [ your son always liked to party and have a good time]. Well, so did you Bob. I have not seen you in years but I'll have a couple of brewski's in heaven with you when its my turn. Go Bulldogs Class Of 1979 and God welcome home a fellow 1st warder. Take it slow Big Guy and watch over us.

Hi Guys. Remember me? Some of the best times I had as a kid where in or around that house on Colfax st. We must have held up a thousand cars playing stickball and streethockey out front ,those mid 70's summer days. Bob and I drifted apart in junior high -always thought we'd get back together someday. Guess it'll have to wait. No doubt he's rockin the the Biggest guys house now. Knowing Bob he'll likely talk God into retiring and letting him run things up there. Heaven would be a lot more fun if he did. Sorry I didn't make it to see you folks-I didn't find out till last night. Hang in there.

To The McMahon Family, My deepest respect and condolences.I have many memories of growing up in the First Ward and going to school with Bob.He also was a very good friend of my sister Kim.Last November was the first time that I had seen him in twenty eight years. As always he had a smile ,laugh and a kind word.Since then, I have seen him probrably four times around Clinton St. whenever I popped in and out of town.It is obvious the kind of person he was by the lasting friendships he nurtured even as the years passed.Bob definitely made many people smile. This terrible tragedy has broken a lot of hearts.GOD BLESS

"Big Bob" was truly a genuine, life loving individual who was always fun to have, and be, around. And it's true, if there was a party, Bob would eventually show up. With a friend leaving us so soon we can only hope that the party in heaven just got a little brighter with Bob's appearance. My sincerest condolences to the family and those close to him. Bob will be missed everywhere by his great number of friends.

Dear Mr. & Mrs. McMahon & Family,

My deepest sympathies regarding the unexpected loss of your son. May Bob rest in peace and keep everybody laughing up in Heaven.

I haven't lived in Binghamton for at least 25 years, but I primarily knew Bob through my twin brother, Ady, and my sister, Desi. I do get home about 1-2 times per year max. So, how wierd that I saw Bob on my very last two visits to Binghamton! (I hadn't seen him in years.) And, most recently, toward the very end of June. As usual, he had a smile on his face and his eyes were lit up. I will never forget this final memory of him. A gentle, funny giant indeed!

My thoughts and prayers will remain with you and yours in your time of grief. I so regret that I cannot pay my respects in person---

God Bless,

Jeff Martin
