Clifford Roberts Obituary
of Windsor
When someone you love becomes a memory...The memory becomes a treasure. Clifford E. Roberts, 73, of Ouaquaga Rd., passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2008, at his home. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Naomi (O'Leary) Roberts; and sister, Ruth Roberts. He is survived by his loving wife, Sally Roberts, Windsor; son, C. Mark Roberts, Fayetteville; two daughters, Lorrie Roberts, Binghamton, Susan (Beth) Roberts, Plano, Tex.; three grandchildren, Marcus Tyler Bowling and Koree Renee Roberts, both of Fayetteville, and Jessica Roberts, Plano, Tex.; brother and sister-in-law, Neil and Evelyn Roberts, Endwell; sisters, Sally and Ray Storm, Conklin, Elizabeth Mahoney and Gil, Greene; father-in-law, Robert Deiss, Windsor; several nieces and nephews. He was a retired employee of I.B.M. Corp. and a member of its Quarter Century Club. He loved being with his family and also liked to fish and he enjoyed the outdoors.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, 12 noon at the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 88 Chapel St., Windsor, with Pastor Sue Shields of Ouaquaga United Methodist Church officiating. An opportunity to share memories will be held Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon with service immediately following. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Knox Cemetery. Those wishing may make memorial contributions to Lourdes Hospice, 4102 Old Vestal Rd., Vestal, N.Y. 13850.

Our thoughts and love are with you during this sad time. I remember watching Sally and Cliff walk down the Windsor Central School hall hand and hand. I just knew you were meant for each other - and so you were. Cliff will be resting in one of the most beautiful spots in the world - Knox cemetery.

I have many fond memories from my early teen years when Clifford would take me hunting and fishing with him on Blatchley Road. Along with the family dinners and many other treasured memories.
