Richard Monkovich Obituary

Richard M. Monkovich
of Johnson City
Richard M. Monkovich, 71, of Johnson City, died unexpectedly at his home on Friday, July 11, 2008. He was predeceased by his father, Michael Monkovich; and a brother, Robert Monkovich. He is survived by his mother, Mary Monkovich; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Richard was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church, Johnson City, a retired employee of the IBM Corporation, and a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He was also an avid outdoorsman.
At the request of the family, there were no calling hours. A private burial was held at Holy Spirit Catholic Cemetery, Kattelville, Thursday, July 17, 2008. Arrangements and supervision by:

We were so sorry to hear of Richard's death. We were in PA last month for my mother's funeral and visited family in Binghamton. We were working on the family genealogy while on the trip and regret that we didn't visit with Richard to see if he had any photos or information he could have shared with us.
