Dear Adeline, Peter, and grandchildren, It was a pleasure having getting to know you and David when you moved to Prescott Avenue - and he mentioned many times how happy he was living here.

We are saddened by your great loss - your beloved David --we pray our lord will get you through this most difficult time - Our prayers will continue to be with you -

Our Lord had other plans for David and decided to take him away from this world. It is so difficult to imagine what heaven is like ---we are told it is absolutley beautiful -

God Bless you - Love, The Porretta's. Dominick and Pauline

Mrs. Battaglini,

I was very sorry to hear of the loss of your husband. You two are my favorite couple! I think back to when I worked at the Park and how you would bring your grandaughter, what proud grandparents -- I envied you two. You both were always so friendly and always interested with what was new in my life. Every time I saw you two it brightened my day, this world lost a wonderful man. Please know you will be forever in my thoughts and prayers.

With love,
Katie (Greco) DiRenzo

Adalion, Peter and family ... words can't even express my thoughts ... Daddio was the best - there is a void deep in my heart that no one else can ever fill ... my children cried when they heard the news - he touched MANY MANY lives ... and everyone who knew him - LOVED HIM!

He was ALWAYS there for my family - in good times and bad ... he had a special way of keeping the memories of great times shared together alive - by retelling stories of all of us growing up ... you were more than neighbors - family really! And my children have grown up loving to listen to Daddio's stories .... of smelting (and being over the limit!), of ducks, of chickens and rabbits, dogs and mice, of painting (even the outside refrigerator for my wedding!) and ladders (and beer), of parties (loud ones that got taped and replayed in the morning!) and communion dresses and smelting boots... the list is endless ... but the cherished memories will live on forever ... I'm so glad that God saw fit for us to be neighbors so many years ago .... E. Franklin St. would not have been the same without you ... it was a privilege to be your Godchild and I'm proud that Daddio was my Godfather ... he took his role seriously and he will be sorely missed.

May you each have peace ... that surpasses understanding ...

and may we meet Daddio again the other side of heaven! Tell them all about us up there! :)

We LOVE you daddio...
Your Godchild Louisa and Jerry McQuade,
Jerry Jr, Ernie, Jimmy, Mary, Michael Angelo and Georiga Rose
