Mabel Benedict Obituary

Mabel Mooney Benedict
of Binghamton
Mabel Mooney Benedict, 92, went to be with her Lord, Monday, July 21, 2008. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard Mooney in 1965; sister, Sophia Maus in 1975; daughter, Susan J. Thompson in 1999; and grandson, Richard L. Thompson in 1995. She is survived by her cousin, Betty L. Gorman.
A graveside service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Kattelville Cemetery with Rev. Al Gelder, Pastor of Valley Christian Reformed Church, officiating. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are by Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango St., Port Dickinson.

God Bless You Mabel!
Although we only knew you for a short while we thought of you as a Guardian Angel. No one knew that you watched over our Mother in her last days, and prayed for her in her final hours. We will be forever grateful to you for that. Now that you have joined your loved ones, may you rest in peace.
