Jack Crampton Obituary

Jack E. Crampton, Jr.
of Binghamton
Jack E. Crampton, Jr., age 68, passed away at the Bridgewater Nursing Home on Wednesday, July 23, 2008, surrounded by his family. Jack was predeceased by his parents, Jack E. and Edith Crampton, Sr.; and a brother, Gary Crampton. He is survived by his sons, David and Barbara Darryl (Jennifer McLain), Daniel and Kelly Aaron (Alicia Oleniacz); also Paulette Crampton; his grandchildren, David Brian, Jr., Laryn Hope, Savannah Rose; brothers and sisters, Robert and Bonnie Crampton, Minetta and William Schoch, Joyce and Henry Williams, Sylvia and Arthur Pratt; also many nieces and nephews and many special friends. Jack was a US Army veteran, an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved the outdoors and was a devout Jeff Gordon fan.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, July 29, at 1:00 p.m., at the Wm. R. Chase and Son Funeral Home, 44 Exchange St., Binghamton. Jack's brother-in-law, William Schoch will be the officiate. Burial will follow at Spring Forest Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 12 noon until the time of service.

Our family had dwindled, one at a time. It seems hard to always being saying "goodbye." We have a lot of good memories with a family our size. Lets cherrish them... We all need to remember life is unpredictable and so short. He was a funny man and I have many good memories.
