Samuel C. Price
of Vestal
Samuel Clifford Price, 78, of Vestal, passed away Monday morning, July 28, 2008, at his home after a lengthy illness. He was predeceased by his parents, Samuel and Louise Price. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Sandra Price, Vestal; four children, Samuel M. Price Sr., Endicott, Karen and Michael DePuysselier, Endwell, Gary and Karen Price, Westminster, Colo., Daniel and Beth Price, Concord, N.C.; 12 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; three brothers and one sister, Wayne Price, Fla., Adrian and Georgianna Price, Vestal, John Price and partner, Liz Tab and son, Dan, Greene, N.Y., Carol Tower, Westover; several nieces and nephews. Samuel served his country in the US Army. He was employed by Endicott-Johnson Corporation for 55 years. He also worked as a school bus driver for the Vestal Central School System for 28 years.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, 12:00 p.m. from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 E. Main St., Endicott. The Rev. John R. Lucas, Pastor of Tracy Creek Memorial Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Riverhurst Cemetery, Endicott. The family will receive friends at the memorial home Thursday, 10:30 a.m. until service time at 12:00 p.m.
