To Jim and family,
To Richard and Barbara, Katie and Israel, Denise and Don,

My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you and your families. Barbara was a person I deeply admired even though a saw her only a few times over the years. She was a great role model for our generation in the Krna family.

I remember as a little girl being so excited to go my cousin Barbara's wedding, the first wedding I'd ever been to. She was as beautiful as my Barbie doll. With the same brunette bouffont hairdo, I thought they named the doll after her. Then it was my turn to get married. Even though it had been years, I was glad to see that same beautiful woman on my special day, happy to have her blessing.

Aunt Stephie always said she felt blessed to have Barbara helping her, inviting her to parties at her house. And of course there were those pictures on top of Aunt Steph's television that she was so proud of: Barbara's children and grandchildren. During one visit with Aunt Steph I had the pleasure of meeting Michael and his son. Barbara obviously had a family to be proud of.

I wish I could have spent more time with Barbara. Everyone spoke of her so highly and her special role in our family. She will be greatly missed by many of us.

With my deepest sympathy,
Pat Krna-Jackson

To the Krna/Wardell Families:

I was very sorry to hear of Barbara's passing. I will always remember playing in the yard with Kathy when Barb and her friends would leave the house, all dressed up, for their dates. I was so envious and thought they were so grown up.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Jim and family: Our heartfelt condolences. Karen recalls meeting Barb in 6th grade. Even though we have been out of the area for 20 years, we still remember how we were able to solve all of the world's problems at Ferry's kitchen table. Jim, she's still watching you, from above.

To Jim and family:
To Denise, Katie, and Richard and families:

Our sincere sympathy is sent to you with the passing of Barbara. May it bring you great comfort to know that we are all keeping you in our prayers and thoughts at this most sorrowful time. I have many great memories of Barbara which bring a smile to my face. I guess I will always remember the garage sales we had at Denise's. We shared many laughs during those times. What I will always remember is the great joy on her face when speaking of her children and grandchildren. May she be at peace and free from suffering.
To Barbara: May the road rise to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face; The rains fall soft upon your fields and, until we meet again, May God hold you in the palm of his hands.

Be Still

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

Dear Jim, Tracey, Jennifer & Mike,

My deepest condolences. Barb was such a big help to my family and I. She brought me to my Dialysis treatments for years. One day the song Elvira by the Oakridge boys came on the radio, we turned it up and sang. Soon this became one of my favorite songs. One day barb bought me the CD.. we listend to Elvira over and over all the way to the hospital and laughed. She new how to make a difficult time easier. Her smile lite up the room and always made me feel good. A few Christmas ago, I made cookies for barb. We sat in her kitchen for a few hours chatting...her laugh.. the twinkle in her eye just made you feel great. Barb had an essense that always put you at ease. I could talk to her about anything. She will be missed and I am thankful for having her in my life.
