To all of Mr. Ralph Wells' family and close relations:
I am so sorry to hear of your loved-one's passing. I viewed Ralph's pictures on this site -- he was quite a handsome man! It's sad when these illnesses take over someone's life -- be comforted to know he is not suffering and you will all be together again one day.
Take care and comfort eachother.
With deepest sympathy,
Debra Burgner and family.

To the Wells children and grandchildren,
I am so sorry to hear that Ralph has passed. As most of you know, I have known him before some of you were born. He was a good man and had the biggest smile. So many memories; camping trips years ago, Amway meetings, families getting together, our kids growing up together and all good stuff. May his soul rest in peace, Amen.
Love, Sue

Thank you to all who loved and cared for the man I called Dad. Four of us where blessed with the privileged of calling him Dad. Amber was like his 5th child and he loved her like a daughter. No matter how short you interaction may have been, thanks for having a positive impact on my Dad's life. It makes this difficult time easier to get through. My Dad was a joker and he found true love and a best friend in Georgia. Georgia, thanks for loving my Dad. Greene was his home for the last 10 years and it was a place that he felt comfortable. Thank you to all for what you have done for my Dad in life and for his family after his passing. I love you Dad AKA Stubber and I will miss you. We will be together again one day.

I want to extend my deepest sympathy to Ralph's family. As one of the nurses who had the great privilege of caring for Ralph, I know how much he loved every one of you. His humor and his courage and his generous nature will always be an inspiration to me.

I'm really going to miss Ralph at our family dinners, he was the biggest fan of my cooking I'll ever have! We used to sit after supper & chat for hours, he never ran out of things to say. He also used to have advice for any home repair you could think of, usually involving matchsticks, toothpaste or duct tape - "Ralph's Remedies", as Rocky nicknamed them. He was first one to congratulate you and tell you he was proud of you for any accomplishment, no matter how small. He made my mom feel good about herself the whole time they were together. It was a really nice thing to see, you could tell how much he really loved her. He also loved joking around, "Kibbitzing" with people as he called it. I asked a couple of the ICU staff at Lourdes if he had a chance to bust on them when he first got there & they smiled & said he did. One of them told me that he had this look in his eye that he must have quite a personality, he said that even though Ralph wasn't feeling good he still smiled & shook his hand that morning when he introduced himself before he had to work on him. He definitely hit the nail on the head, Ralph did have a one of a kind personality and was a good man that will be missed.

I am one of the nurses that took care of Ralph during his transplant. It was an honor to care for him and my prayers are with you at this time. Ralph was a man that had a twinkle in his eye and he would thank you for the smallest things that you did for him. I know how much he loved his family because that was all he talked about some nights. I am so sorry for your loss.

I took care of Ralph on 8M. He was a lot of fun and had a great attitude. The nurses all liked taking care of him. He talked a lot about his family - his wife, children and grandchildren - he loved them all very much. He loved to talk about Georgia - how he met her and how fun his marriage was. He was looking forward to going to Florida in the fall. My prayers are with the family.
