WHO IS CHARLES FOSTER?

IT WOULD BE SELFISH OF ME TO SPEAK OF CHUCK AS MY FRIEND. HE HAD SO MANY FRIENDS & FAMILY WHO LOVED HIM AND WHO HE LOVED. AND OUR FRIEND WILL TRULY BE MISSED.

CHUCK AND I MET IN 9TH GRADE EARTH SCIENCE CLASS. THERE WAS AN ALMOST INSTANT FRIENDSHIP BETWEEN US. WE BECAME CLOSE FRIENDS, PARTNERS IN CRIME. BATMAN AND ROBIN WAS THE NICKNAME GIVEN TO HIM AND I BY BILL KURUTZ.

CHUCK EXUDED AN ORA THAT WAS MAGNETIC. IT MADE YOU WANT TO GET TO KNOW THIS HAPPY GO LUCKY CHARACTER. HIS HONESTY WAS ONE OF HIS MOST CHEERISHED QUALITIES, AND EVEN THOUGH IT GOT US INTO TROUBLE MORE THAN ONCE I COULD NEVER HOLD THAT AGAINST HIM. HE JUST COULDN’T HELP HIMSELF.

CHUCKS LOVE FOR HIS WIFE KAREN, HIS CHILDREN, EXTENDED FAMILY AND FRIENDS WAS ENORMOUS AND IT WAS THAT LOVE THAT GAVE HIM THE STRENGTH TO PUT UP THE LONG HARD FIGHT HE DID.

CHUCK TOUCHED MANY MORE LIVES THAN HE’D EVER IMAGINED, AND WAS ACTUALLY TAKEN BACK BY THE OUTPOURING OF SUPPORT HE RECIEVED. IT IS BECAUSE OF CHUCKS LOVE OF FAMILY, FRIENDS AND LIFE THAT WE NEED TO COME TOGETHER TODAY NOT TO MOURN HIS DEATH BUT TO CELEBRATE HIS LIFE AND THE WAYS HE TOUCHED ALL OUR HEARTS.

WE LOVE YOU CHUCK FOSTER NOW, ALWAYS AND FOREVER. GODS SPEED TO OUR FRIEND.

To All of Chucks family, my deepest sympathy goes out to all of you. Charles was a great guy, he only wanted to help others by being a nurse. I have to say when I went to BCC with Chuck I got to see first hand the true compassion he had for people, and how much respect he had for the field of nursing.
Charles will be missed dearly by the people who knew him. I am glad I had the chance to stop by and see Chuck recently before he passed on, and wouldn't you know it even during his dying days he still had a great attitude toward life.
May God Bless his soul and the family he left behind.
Sincerely,

Brenda (Cole) Darling

Karen, Billy Joe & Donald,

You've all been on my mind since I learned of Chuck's passing. Karen, we lost touch with you and Chuck through the years, but I never forgot you and how much fun the 2 of you were to be around. Billy, you were just a little guy and Donald, you were just a baby last time I saw you.

I hope the love you share between one another will give you the strength to get through your grief.

I'm not sure what else to say except that if you wanted to talk or visit, or anything, I would like you to contact me.

KAREN and CHILDREN
Thank you so much for letting me be part of your Family.Chuck truly was a Friend and his optimism was catching.I am here for all of you for anything you need. Karen a few words for YOU the unselfish Care Giver:

Do not stand at my grave and weep,

I am not there, I do not sleep,

I am a thousand winds that blow,

I am the diamond glints on snow

I am the sunlight on ripened grain

I am the gentle autumn's rain

When you awaken in the morning's hush

I am the swift uplifting rush,

Of quiet birds in circled flight.

I am the soft stars that shine at night,

Do not stand at my grave and cry;

I am not there. I did not die.

Chuck..You fought a courages battle
You NEVER GAVE UP
Rest NOW MY FRIEND
I will Miss You
Until we meet again

To the Family of Chuck Foster
Chuck was a great mentor and role model for the youth in Johnson City while coaching football and baseball. His fight and battle is since over and you are now in a peacful place and looking over and still protecting Donald, Billy Joel, and Karen. My heart and prayers go out to the family as they face one of the challenges that God hands us. My heart and prayers go out to Karen, Donald, Billy Joel and family during your time of sorrow and loss. May you cherish the memories of Chuck that will bring happiness and comfort knowing how many lives he touched. May you rest in Peace until we all meet again.
