Lillian A. Ostrander
of Owego
Lillian A. Ostrander, 84, of Owego, passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2008, at Lourdes Hospital. Lillian was predeceased by her parents, Cecil and Genevieve Jackson; sister, Alice Post and former husband, Charles E. Ostrander. Lillian is survived by her children, Charles David (Beth) Ostrander, Owego, Gary (Marcia) Ostrander, Whitney Point, and Kathryn Ostrander, Owego; brothers and sisters-in-law, James (Barbara) Jackson, Vestal, Russell (Joyce) Jackson, Whitney Point, Roger (Jan) Jackson, Nokesville, Va.; sister and brother-in-law, Carol (Leonard) Shellhammer, Owego; and brother-in-law, Dana Post, Newark Valley; four grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Lillian was a 60+ year member of the United Methodist Church of Newark Valley and will always be remembered as a loving daughter, sister and MOM.
Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Lillian's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park Street, Owego. www.emfaheyfuneralhome.com
