Anna Wells Obituary
of Rochester
Anna Suvak Wells, 70, fell asleep in the Lord on Wednesday evening, August 13, 2008, with her loving daughter and son-in-law at her side. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard G. Wells Sr.; father, John Suvak; and sister-in-law, Lorraine Suvak. She is survived by her kind, caring and loving family: son, Richard G. (Chris) Wells Jr. Hooper, Utah; devoted daughter, Barbara (Michael J.) Kundrat; three grandchildren whom she loved dearly, Michael John, Kristianna, Nicholas Kundrat, all of Pittsford; beloved mother, Kristina Suvak, Binghamton; loving brother, Michael Suvak; and devoted sister, Mary (Joseph) Dervay, Johnson City; and several cherished nieces and nephews. She was a member of St. Michael's Greek Catholic Church.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 9 a.m. at the Chopyak-Scheider Funeral Home, 326 Prospect Street, Binghamton, and 9:30 at St. Michael's Greek Catholic Church, 292 Clinton Street, Binghamton, where a Divine Liturgy will be celebrated by The Very Rev. Protopresbyter James Dutko. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Rev. Dutko will conduct a prayer service 7:30 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends Tuesday, 5-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, kindly consider contributing in Anna's memory to either St. Michael's Greek Catholic Church or to the Jason Ligator Scholarship Fund.

I was very sorry to hear of the loss of your mom. I only had one occasion to speak to her and that was while doing research of your dad's family history. It was obvious that she was fiercly protective of each of you, and she that she loved you very much. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
