Lee Baldwin Obituary

Lee S. Baldwin
of Windsor, N.Y.
Lee S. Baldwin, 42, of Windsor, N.Y., died August 17, 2008 following a fatal car accident, in which Daniel Plaia was also killed. Lee is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Kelly; three daughters living at home, Jennifer, Amanda, and Megan; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Donald and Wilma Price, Windsor, N.Y.; a sister-in-law, Ann Purdy and husband, Michael; two nephews, Dustin and Michael; and numerous friends. He was predeceased by his sister-in-law, Michelle Price. Lee worked as a truck driver for Coca-Cola Enterprises, and was associated with the Sunshine Valley Wesleyan Church. He served 20 years in the U.S. Naval Reserves, serving during Operation Iraqi Freedom. In his free time he enjoyed hauling cars and recycling scrap metal. He will be remembered for helping not only his neighbors but also complete strangers.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2008, at 11:00 a.m., at the Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home in Hallstead, Pa., with Pastor Jacob Robinson officiating. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-9 on Wednesday. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery.

Kelly and Girls-
We continue to keep you all in our thoughts and prayers as you face each new day. I am so grateful for bumping into Lee back in July so that I have one last memory of his great big smile! I remember thinking how sweet it was that he was anxious to go see you Kelly, and help you in your classroom. I hope that you will all find comfort in your wonderful memories. We are so very sorry that we were unable to attend the services for Lee but know that we were, and still are, thinking of Lee, the girls, your family, and you Kelly. Please let us know if you need anything. Much love and friendship- Lisa Rosenkrans and Josh Lapallo

Kelly and girls
Words can't express the sympathy we feel for you all right now. Life is like a journey down a road and you were on the road called "Life With Lee" there is a PACE car that you are following when suddenly the road comes to an end and you have to take a detour, you are unsure and afraid of the new road but the PACE car is never out of sight, it can turn into a tow truck when you get stuck and it can turn into a rollback and carry you when you are broke down. Keep your eyes on that PACE car Kelly and never let HIM out of your sight, HE will help you down this new and unfamilier road. I know your faith will get you through this devastating time, I am so proud of you and the girls, you all are so very brave. we are all going to miss Lee and his great big smile and bigger heart. With Love and Prayers

I remember great times growing up with Uncle Leo and all the kids. I wanted to leave you with what I remember about Lee and how he convinced me that Turtle soup, (yes the real thing) wasn't that bad...we ate and grinned. We spent many great summers and most holidays together as a family. He was a great guy and known to me as "Poke." My sincere sympathies and know that he will always be remembered for his kind and gentle nature.
