Richard Short Obituary

Richard W. Short, Jr.
of Greenville, Tenn.
Richard W. Short, Jr. passed away on August 18, 2008. He was surrounded by his adoring family, after a courageous battle with cancer. Richard, aka Uncle Boog, is survived by his loving son, Johnathan R. Short and his fiancee, Liz Relyea and granddaughter, Emily Short; his mother and father, Richard and Barbara Short; brothers and sisters, William G. Short, Diania L. Gray, Shauna and James Huffman and Shawn Short; and 5 nephews and 7 nieces; an aunt, Dorothy and Uncle Chuck North. In his free time he enjoyed keeping in touch with his family and keeping everyone up to date on things, but most of all helping his girlfriend, Joyce Clancy's father, Troy Holt with his recovery of an accident 18 months ago. He not only helped family but often strangers. He also loved driving the boat on the lake.
Richard was a kind person and I am sure they have a special place for him in Heaven. A Funeral Service will be held in October 2008 in Tenn.
