Georgiana A. Powell, 77, of Glen Burnie, Maryland, formerly of Owego, N.Y., passed away on August 18, 2008. She was born on April 12, 1931 in Endicott, N.Y. She was predeceased by her parents, George and Violet Powell; also her brothers, Foster, Roger and Gordon. She is survived by her brothers, G. Kenneth Powell, Augusta, Maine and L. Douglas Powell, Owego, N.Y.; her sisters, Janet (Bruce) Tennant, Midland, N.C., Carol (Ronald) Bell, Owego, N.Y., Linda Wilcox, Owego, N.Y.; sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins; and her good friend, Ruth Torres, Pasadena, Maryland.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment in Broadway Cemetery, Day Hollow Road, Owego, N.Y.
