Edna Helmes Obituary
of Conklin
Edna Marie Helmes, 72, of Conklin, went to her Lord on August 25, 2008. She was predeceased by her husband, Bernard Helmes. She is survived by her companion and best friend, Robert Dotman, Conklin; daughters, Jeanette and John Palmer, Sandra Taft and Joe Casey, all of Bainbridge, Elaina Holdredge and Michael Furgeson, Chenango Forks; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A prayer service will be offered at St. Peter's Episcopal Cemetery, Bainbridge, N.Y., Saturday at 11 a.m. The family will receive family and friends at the Thomas J. Shea Funeral Home, Inc., 137 Robinson St., Binghamton, on Saturday from 9 to 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make memorial contributions to the American Heart Association, 59 Court St., 4th floor, Binghamton, N.Y. 13901.

I am sorry for the loss of this wonderful woman. She has been my parents' next door neighbor for many years. I remember how she worried about us and checked up on my Mom alot. We'll all miss her.
