Elinor Hane Obituary
of Whitney Point
Funeral Services for Elinor E. Hane will be held Thursday, August 28, 2008, at 2 p.m. at the Community Bible Church. The Rev. Gordon Warner Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at the Riverside Cemetery in Whitney Point. Arrangements by the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango St., Port Dickinson. Those wishing, kindly consider memorial contributions to either: the Gideons International, PO Box 1091, Binghamton, N.Y. 13902 or the Whitney Point Preschool and Daycare, PO Box 285, Whitney Point, N.Y. 13862.

Elinor will remain in our memories for a long time to come. On the rare occasions that our dogs ran off, they seemed to gravitate to her farm. She always graciously called us or gave them a ride back up the hill. This wonderful, unconventional, hard working woman will be missed in our neighborhood.
