John D. Rhodes, 55, of Owego, passed away at home on Monday, September 8, 2008. John was predeceased by his parents, Jack and Shirley Rhodes; and sister, Barbra Rhodes. John is survived by his children, Courtney Rhodes, Ariz., Barbra Rhodes, Waverly, Margaret Grace Rhodes, Elmira, Mickey Hurlburt, Va., and Amy Hurlburt, Pa.; sister, Jacquline (Art) Rogers, Ga.; brother, Gene Rhodes (Robert Dixon), Binghamton, and Terry (Lynn) Rhodes, Owego.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2008, at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. George Truesdail at Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park Street, Owego. www.emfaheyfuneralhome.com
