Helen Jackowski Obituary
of Melbourne, Fla.
Helen D. Jackowski, age 94, died September 8, 2008 in Melbourne, Fla. Helen was born on January 20, 1914 in Hudson, N.Y., the daughter of the late Katherine Weinmann and Oren Betz. Survivors include her sons, Philip (Tom Slocum) Jackowski and Stefan (Barbara) Jackowski; brother, Earl Betz; grandchildren, Geoff, Vanessa and Paul; and daughter-in-law, Libby Dudley. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles; daughter, Anne; son, Stanley; and brother, Loren. Helen was a homemaker who belonged to St. Joseph's Catholic Church. She greatly enjoyed playing cards and doing craft projects.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 12, 2008, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Palm Bay, Fla., at 11 a.m. Please consider donations to St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 5310 Babcock St. NE, Palm Bay, Fla. 32905.

My deepest sympathies to Helen's family. She was a special friend since South Oaks days and a big part of our craft group at the Palm Bay Senior Center. She was a real trooper right up to the end.....she will be missed by so many!
