Geraldine Heier
of Fort Myers, Fla.
Geraldine Heier, CNA, 87, of Fort Myers, Fla., passed away Sept. 15, 2008. A resident of Fort Myers for over 30 years, she was born in Binghamton, N.Y. to Elmer and Bessie Brown. She lived in Great Bend, Pa. most of her life and enjoyed working at Reddon's. She obtained her CNA license in Florida and enjoyed working at the local hospital. She is survived by one daughter, Carol Heier, Fort Myers; and a very helpful caregiver, Don Weir. She was predeceased by her parents, sisters, one brother; husband, Walter Heier; and son, E.W. "Ike" Heier.
She had requested no visitation, therefore, Graveside Burial Services will be conducted on Monday, Sept. 22, 2008, at 1:00 p.m. at the Chenango Valley Cemetery. Her number one priority and love was flowers. She requested that flowers be kept around her headstone so that she can continue to watch them grow.
