Eva M. Barrett-Mosher
formerly of Newark Valley
Eva M. Mosher, 79, born on April 21, 1929, went to her resting place on September 22, 2008 following a brief illness. She is survived by her children, Sandra Borden, William Cody, M. Ray Cody, Sharon Wilcox, Raymond Barrett, Elma Duff, Rebecca Hoskins, Bradley Barrett; her stepchildren, Grace Horton, James Barrett, Ester Thomas, Frances Parker, Stanley, Donny and Birthamae Mosher; her sister, Gwendolyn Lewis; 44 grandchildren, 79 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Eva was a very kind woman and dearly loved her family. She will be greatly missed.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday at the MacPherson Funeral Home, Newark Valley, with Fr. David Hritcko, a dear friend of the family, officiating. Interment will be at 1 p.m. in the West Hill Cemetery, Hornby, N.Y. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
