When "Chuck" got up to the Pearly Gates, the Lord put
His arm around him and said;
"You done good Son!"
It's NOT how long you live nor how much you accumulate,
it's what you've DONE with your Life.... Chuck, you done
good!

Chuck was one of those guys who had the roughest exterior and was just a big teddy bear inside. I worked with him at Melchers in Mesa, AZ. I missed him when he went back to NY, but it was definately the state for Chuck - he was alot happier there! RIP

I just happened to catch the obituary while reading the Daily Star. Didn't know the man, but he was a fellow Marine. Once a Marine always a Marine. Semper Fi.

Diane, Sue & Rhonda,
Chuckie and I worked together 4 1/2 years ago. Since then a week has not passed without a check-up call. Chuck was mentor, big brother, and Sergeant Striker all in one. He was class and protocol all the way. He went with his boots on in the service he so loved and lived for. I'll hear his Polkas in the wind, like I did in the background of every phone call over the years. Know that he spoke of you all often in a way that made me know that his family was his life. I hope to get to put faces to names and maybe share a story or two in Syracuse on Thursday. Godspeed Sergeant Striker you prince among men... Toot'sweet, this, that and the other and god bless America.

I am so sorry to hear of Chucks passing. We played together in the Liverpool American Legion Band for many years and had a lot of fun at the Conventions and Field Days. I half expect my phone to ring and hear him on the other end saying "Hey its Sarge... whatcha doing.. just wanted to touch base with you." He was a great guy and will be missed by those who knew him.
Rest in peace Chuck....
