Uncle John was a great man all about family always there to help out when needed and never wanted anything in return. Treated me as one of his children. A hand is what he had and a hand is what he gave. I will miss you so much you will always be with me in my heart.

A man who did a lot

An all-american hero, a Vietnam vet.
For his service we will never forget.

He was a storyteller, a jokester, and he really knew what to do.
He's the kind of man that would do anything for you.

He was there for his friends and helped those in need.
He was never selfish or driven by greed.

No questions asked, he made sure you didn't go without.
In our daily living we will miss out because this man is not about.

It's hard to let go because hope is all we know.
For John, love still grows.

John Hayes will be missed for his richness of giveness because as a person he was the richest.

Dear "Uncle" Chuck, Gene, JoAnne, Sue, I am so sorry for your loss of John, he was a good guy! I didn't see him much since we have all grown and went our own ways but each time I have seen him, mainly at Cornaby's, it was like I just saw him yesterday. The conversation just flowed. My father still has pictures of them working together and thought of John as one of his own.
I will not be able to attend Saturday but wanted you all to know that your in my thoughts.
Sincerely,
Deena (McCrady) Price
