Angelo M. Sassani
of Binghamton
Angelo M. Sassani, 76, went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 6, 2008, at his home. He was predeceased by his parents, Dr. John and Jeanette (Muir) Sassani. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Genevieve (Salvato) Sassani, Binghamton; one son and daughter-in-law, John A. and Robin Sassani, Vestal; one daughter, Theresa Sassani, Binghamton; three grandchildren, Maria, Michael and Nicholas Sassani, Vestal; one sister, Adelina Sassani, Binghamton; one uncle, Nicholas A. Sassani, Swampscott, Mass.; also several cousins; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Louis and Alice Salvato, Binghamton; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Anna Salvato, Susquehanna, Pa., Mary and Carl Tanner, Great Bend, Pa., Sister Rosella Salvato I.H.M., Scranton, Pa. He was an employee of Larkin Music and a teacher of piano and organ for many years. He was a member of St. Vincent DePaul Church and also a Eucharistic Minister.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, October 9, 2008, at 10:45 a.m. at the James V. DeMarco & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango St., Port Dickinson, N.Y., and continue at 11:30 a.m. at St. Vincent DePaul Church where a Funeral Mass will be offered. Burial will follow in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. Family and friends are invited to call at the DeMarco & Son Funeral Home, on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m.
