Daisy, Delvin, Donn and Dixie, and all of your spouses and children. What a sad piece of news mom shared with me yesterday. But she said that you were all doing well. That can only be because of your knowledge that he is no longer suffering, and he is sitting at the feet of Jesus. I, too, have so many, many wonderful memories of a very gentle and quiet man who just made you feel special. He was a wonderful friend to our whole family, and as youngsters, your whole family was like our own family. He will be missed, but God will give you all the grace and strength to endure. Our prayers and thoughts are with you all.

Mrs. Webber and family: I'm sorry to hear of Mr. Webber's passing. He was my 6th grade school teacher (my first male teacher) at Newark Valley Nathan T. Hall. Back then most Elementary School teachers were women. He was a very kind teacher and I remember him fondly. My thoughts and prayers are with your family at this time.
