Agnes Kresse Obituary
of Endwell, N.Y.
Agnes Kresse, 85, of Endwell, N.Y., went to be with the Lord Friday morning, October 10, 2008, at the Vestal Nursing Center. She was predeceased by her husband, Eduard Kresse; and her son, Wolfgang Kresse. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Gerhard and Patricia Kresse, Endwell, N.Y.; one daughter and son-in-law, Ingrid and Dennis Saunders, Johnson City; five grandchildren and spouses, Brenda Kresse, Cynthia Kresse, Wendy and Jeff McGar, and Holly Saunders, all of Atlanta, Ga., Joseph and Dawn Kresse, Binghamton; three great-grandchildren, Hailey Kresse and Hayden Kresse, both of Binghamton, Nathan McGar, Atlanta, Ga.; two sisters, Martha Dill and Sofie Moeller, both of Germany; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Agnes was a member of St. James Church, Johnson City and was very devoted to her family and church.
Funeral services will be held at the J.F. Rice Funeral Home, Inc., 150 Main St., Johnson City, Monday at 10 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. at St. James Church where a Funeral Mass will be offered. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Sunday from 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association, Southern Tier Regional Office, Nichols Notch - 401 Hayes Ave., Endicott, N.Y. 13760, in Agnes Kresse's memory.
