George Clark
of Candor
George Clark, 69, of Candor, passed away on Friday, October 10, 2008. Mr. Clark is survived by his wife of 48 years, Frances Clark; children and their spouses, Cheryl and Marty Mancini, Wayne and Vicki Clark, Helena Clark and Tim Thompson, Rose Poquette; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; brother, Thomas Clark; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Helena and John Sinnott, Evie and Charlie Lovastik, Mary and Peter McIntyre; several nieces, nephews and cousins. George enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisher.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 13, 2008, at 11:30 a.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego. The family will receive friends Monday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. prior to the services at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in George Clark's memory to the American Diabetes Assoc., P.O. Box 5, Johnson City, N.Y. 13790.

We are sorry for your loss. It is a difficult time when you lose a loved one. I met George once when he was in town to visit Wayne. We had fun talking baseball over a few beers.
