Donna J. Bennett
of Greene
Donna J. Bennett, 68, went to be into the arms of Jesus on Saturday, October 11, 2008. She was predeceased by her husbands, Pete Zajaceskowski and Robert Bennett; and by her father, Richard Meade. She is survived by her mother, Doris Meade, Greene; children, Brian and Kim Wilcox, South Carolina, David and Gladys Wilcox, Greene, Roger and Linda Wilcox, Port Byron, Katherine Wilcox, Binghamton, Linette and Terry Wood, DeWitt, Terry Wilcox, Glen Aubrey; ten grandchildren, one great-granddaughter; brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Sandy Meade, N.Y., N.Y.; two nephews, Eric and Brice Meade and special friend, DeeDee, Cortland; and the father of her children, Roger Wilcox.
A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday at Highland Park Alliance Church, Greene. Pastor Jeff Cutting will officiate. Burial will be in Sylvan Lawn Cemetery at a later date. Friends of the family may call Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Root Funeral Home, 23 N. Chenango Street, Greene, N.Y. 13778. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Highland Park Alliance Church, or to Greene Emergency Squad, or to Hospice of Chenango County.
