Frank A. Borowicz
of Susquehanna, Pa.
Frank A. Borowicz, 73, of East Main Street, Susquehanna, Pa., passed away Sunday, October 12, 2008, at the Wilson Memorial Hospital in Johnson City, N.Y., after an illness. He was born in Bronx, N.Y., the son of the late Frank and Grace (Rollins) Borowicz. Frank is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Sue Ann (Brainard) Borowicz; one daughter and son-in-law, Sue and Michael Passetti, Nichols, N.Y.; one brother and sister-in-law, Andrew and Kathi Borowicz, Jackson, Pa.; two grandchildren, Holly and Tony Passetti; two brothers-in-law, Ronald Brainard and Joseph Sanauskas; three sisters-in-law, Dona and James Warner, Lynnette McAlla, Bonnie Brainard; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was retired from the Local Union #112, Plumbers and Pipe Fitters of Binghamton, N.Y. Frank was a veteran of the US Marine Corps, serving during the Korean Conflict, and was a member of the American Legion Post #86, Susquehanna, Pa. Frank enjoyed hunting and fishing.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2008, at 9:30 a.m. at the Hennessey's Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave., Susquehanna, Pa., and 10:00 a.m. at the St. John's Church, Susquehanna, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered by Rev. Albert Leonard. Burial will be in the St. John's Cemetery, Susquehanna, Pa. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Susquehanna Ambulance, PO Box 175, Susquehanna, Pa.
