Predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Donald Whitney; parents, Michael A. and Florence Pedro; brother, Charles E. Pedro and sister-in-law, Jean Pedro. Survived by daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Norm Kaufman, Owego, N.Y. and The Villages, Fla.; grandchildren, Jennifer and David Baratta, Montclair, N.J., Kara and Paul McCluskey, Wichita, Kans., Julie Kaufman, Orlando, Fla.; great-grandchildren, Elliott Baratta, Katelynn Jo Baratta and Connor McCluskey; brother and sister-in-law, Richard M. and Jeanne Pedro; many nieces and nephews, and her beloved dog, Taz. She was born and resided in Owego until moving to Palm Beach Gardens upon retirement. She served in the US Navy.
Upon her request, there will be no calling hours and a Military Funeral will be held at the convenience of the family. Those wishing may kindly donate to Hospice of Palm Beach County, 5300 East Avenue, West Palm Beach, Fla. 33407 or to the charity of your choice.

Nancy, Norm ....I was sorry to hear that your Mom had passed away. I always feltthat she was as a special person. She AWAYS made me laughe with her great wip and humor.

Nancy and Family,
I was sorry to learn of Arlene's passing. We had worked together at the Endicott Trust Company,back in the 1960's. Always remembered her with a smile and a good laugh. My condolences to you all. May your cherished memories bring you comfort.

Nancy:
I am sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. I remember her and your father very well. I grew up on Lackawanna Ave. with all the Pedro's and was very close to them. Your grandmother used to babysit me. Again my sympathy is with you, as I lost my parents ( Carm and Toby Oakes ) years ago.
