Linda Brown Obituary
Linda Brown went to be with her Lord, October 9th, 2008. She was predeceased by her husband, Anthony Brown; father and mother, James and Annie Moore. She is survived by two sons, Rahsaan Parks, Lyndell Brown; two brothers, Henry (Lenora) Curtis and Willie Curtis, Binghamton, N.Y.; five sisters, Mattie Curtis, North Brunswick, N.J., Mary (Edward) McGhee, Seat Pleasant, Md., Fannie Hampton, Binghamton, N.Y., Channie Curtis, Brooklyn, N.Y., Annie (James) Howard, Bronx, N.Y.; partner, William Price; dear friend, Cherri Hampton; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
At Linda's request, there will be no memorial service. Ernest H. Parsons Funeral Home, Inc.

To linda's Sons, I worked with your Mother at Sourcecorp and thought very highly of her.I remember her telling me to never hesitate to come and talk to her if I ever had a problem at work.I'll miss bumping in to her at the stores.

I WAS SADDENED BY THE NEWS OF YOUR MOTHERS PASSING. I WILL MISS HER GREATLY. I ENJOYED THE FOOTBALL GAMES WE SHARED, THE HUGS AND KIND WORDS WHENEVER WE MET, USUALLY AT WAL-MART. I LEARNED SO MUCH FROM HER AS HER CO-WORKER. SHE SPOKE OF YOU BOTH OFTEN SHE WAS A VERY PROUD MOTHER. BE REASSURED THAT YOU HAVE HER LOVING ARMS AROUND YOU COMFORTING YOU THROUGH OUT YOUR LIFE. Rahsaan and Lyndell, we were so saddened to hear about your Mom. She loved you both and she is now watching over you from heaven. She will remember all your past accomplishments and will be watching any new ones! May God be with you both as you grieve her loss. So sorry too hear about your mom. She was a very wonderful person and a great friend too me. I will miss her terribly. She was very proud of you both and often spoke of your achievements. She will be looking down on you always. I know you will make her proud. She has raised you both too make good choices and I know you will. God bless you both. I will surely miss my friend and mentor. I was so very saddened to hear of your mom's passing. I hope you know how very much she loved you, and how proud she was of both of you! I was lucky enough to have known and worked with your mom for several years. A good woman, to be sure.
When I lost my mom I was much older than you two young men, but someone told me at the time that "whomever we have loved in our lives can never leave us". I believe this to be true, and know in my heart that your mom will watch over and guide you through your life's journey. I pray that you continue to make the right choices that will keep your mom proud.
