Robert G. Frederick
of Binghamton
Robert G. Frederick, 72, of Binghamton, passed away unexpectedly Monday evening, October 13, 2008. He was predeceased by his parents, Stanley and Bertha Frederick. He is survived by his beloved wife, M. Joan Frederick; his children and spouses, Dawn and David Gilmore, Robert Frederick, Jr., Valerie Frederick, Stephen and Patricia Frederick, Alan and Sharon Jerome, David Jerome, Dennis Jerome and Bobbie Jo Godbout, Debra Fian, Richard and Dawn Jerome, Anthony and Theresa Jerome, and Marie Martel; 25 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; his siblings, Sandra and Ron Tripp, David Frederick, Joyce Gelunas; also several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was a retired employee of Nabisco in Endicott and was a bartender at Zopp's in Binghamton. He was a member of the Binghamton Moose Lodge #1013. He was an avid baseball fan, bowler and golfer. Bob loved his family, especially his children.
Funeral Services will be held at the J.F. Rice Funeral Home, Inc., 150 Main St., Johnson City, Friday at 9:30 a.m. The Rev. Dr. Robert M. St. Clair, Pastor of First Church of the Nazarene, in Binghamton, will officiate. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 4 - 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make memorial contributions to a charity of ones choice in Bob Frederick's memory.

To all who have signed and knew my Dad. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers, they are greatly appreciated. He will be missed but he will be remembered through the children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. To the Jerome's I say this...Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being there with my dad day in and day out over the past 30 plus years. We have become close over those years and I have always thought of you all as direct brothers, sisters, and mom. My heart goes out to you and I love you all.
