of Harpursville
Charles M. "Bob" Prentice, 62, of Harpursville, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2008, at his home after battling years of lung disease. Charles was predeceased by his brother, Edwin, and his sister, Jeanne. He is survived by his wife and best friend, Christine Prentice; his children, Robert "BJ" Prentice and Nicole Prentice, both of Harpursville; his grandchildren, Jonathan, "his little buddy," and Cheyenne; his sister, Wendy Ziac, Corbettsville, N.Y.; his brother, Richard, Colorado; his favorite Aunt Annie; a special friend, Edward Tirrell, Tex.; and several other friends.
Funeral Services will be held at the Osterhoudt-Madden Funeral Home, 69-71 Maple Street, Harpursville, on Friday at 11 a.m. Frank Phillips, Elder of the Deposit Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, will officiate. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the Osterhoudt-Madden Funeral Home on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m.
