William Haggerty Obituary

William E. Haggerty
formerly of Endicott
William E. Haggerty, 52, formerly of Endicott, died at the New York State Veterans Home, Oxford, N.Y., Monday, October 20, 2008. Predeceased by his aunts and uncles. Survived by his mother, Edith L. Thornton, Vestal; father, Edward J. Haggerty, Binghamton; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Denise and Robert Broughton, Pahrump, Nev., Mary E. Haggerty, Maine, Marlene and Daniel Vymislicky, Endicott; three nephews, Daniel, Jr., Joseph and Thomas; cousins, aunts and uncles. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the US Navy for over seven years.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, 1 p.m. from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 E. Main Street, Endicott. Father Clarence Cerwonka, Pastor of Most Holy Rosary Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Endicott. The family will receive friends at the memorial home Thursday from 5 - 8 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in William's memory may be made to the New York State Veterans Home, Oxford, N.Y.; or the Vietnam Veterans Association.
