Norma Benz Obituary
of Vestal
Norma (Betty) Benz, 88, of Vestal, died at Good Shepherd Fairview Nursing Home on Wednesday, October 22, 2008. Predeceased by her husband, Raymond C. Benz in 1997; three sisters, Margaret, Mildred and Marie; two brothers, Robert and Howard. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Paul and Mary Benz, Conklin, Thomas and Bonnie Benz, Peoria, Ariz.; one sister-in-law, Mary Scholl, North Syracuse; several nieces and nephews. She was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Vestal and was very active in the church food pantry and was a former employee of Binghamton University. The Benz family wishes to thank the staff at Good Shepherd Nursing Home for the loving care given to Betty.
A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Vestal. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park, Vestal. Expressions of sympathy in Betty's memory may be made to the Our Lady of Sorrows Food Pantry, 157 Clark St., Vestal, N.Y. 13850.

Thank you so very much for having "Betty" at GSFH so that I could have the pleasure of taking care of her. Since I have retired I think of all my people there and miss them all.
