Gertrude Frost Obituary
of Dryden
Gertrude C. Frost, 81, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 23, 2008. She was predeceased by her husband, Elmer Frost. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Ronald Brewer, and Laurie and Craig Schutt; three sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Ann Frost, Gerald and Sharon Frost, and Robert and Melinda Frost; 11 grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and two sisters. Gertrude loved crocheting afghans and most of all cherished her family.
At Gertrude's request there will be no funeral service. Burial will take place at the convenience of the family at South Windsor Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Gertrude's memory may be made to the charity of one's choice.

Dear Laurie, Michael, Susan, Gerry, and Robbie, We want to tell you how saddened we were to hear of your mothers passing. She and I talked to each other most every day. Sometimes just revisiting our childhoods. I will miss our good morning chats very much. I loved her very much, there is nothing like a sister bond. Love to all of you. If I can be of any help, just call.

I am so sorry for your loss. Aunt Gertie will always be one of my greatest characters of my childhood. My last visit with her was the first after many years and she greeted me with open arms. She was so excited and had much to tell me. It was a great visit and a good memory to remember.

Susan, Laurie, Michael, Gerald and Robert, was so sorry to read of your mothers passing. We only have one set of parents and this is a sad time for all of you. I'm praying that all of you are given strength and peace of mind through this. Pull up your memories and find solace in some of them.
