Daniel E. Toussaint, Sr. was called to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Sunday, October 26, 2008. He is also survived by his siblings, Marlene Bull (Charlie), Joanne, Paul (Janet), and Tommy (Mabel). Dan worked for Sears, Roebuck and Company for 39 years in retail sales and management.
A time of remembrance will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows in Vestal at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 30, 2008, and will be followed by Memorial Mass at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the American Cancer Society in Dan's memory. Dear Cynthia and Family,
We were sad to hear about Dan's passing. Although we hadn't seen him for years we always remembered him warmly. He sold us all of our appliances when we moved into our home back in 1983.
We remember visiting with both you and Dan at your home way back when and they are fond memories.
We hope that the memories that you all shared with Dan will bring smiles to your hearts and faces.
Our deepest sympathy,
Bonnie & Hershey Rozen

I will surely miss my friend Dan whom I knew for several years at the Endicott Boys' Club where we would talk about life while working out in the weight room. The sadness of his departure is deep, but the memories of his goodness are so very high. My sincerest condolances to his family.
