Hattie A. Hunter
formerly of Hallstead, Pa.
Hattie A. Hunter, 83, formerly of Hallstead, Pa., passed away Monday, October 27, 2008, at Meadow View Senior Living Center. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Robert F. Hunter, in 1991. She is survived by her children, Barbara and Harold Stockholm, Great Bend, Pa., and Harley and Christine Davis, East Stroudsburg, Pa.; five step-children, Beverly and Rex Tiffany, Kingsley, Pa., William and Nancy Hunter, New Milford, Pa., David and Phyllis Hunter, Unadilla, N.Y., Carl and Sandy Hunter, Oley, Pa., and Carole and Louis Raub, Kingsley, Pa.; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Hattie worked at Bates Troy in Binghamton, N.Y. and then for Magnetic Labs in Great Bend, Pa. She enjoyed the Blue Ridge Senior Center in Great Bend and crocheted many afghans for the center to donate. While a resident of the Emerson Apartments, she participated in many social activities. The family would like to thank the staff, doctors, nurses, and aides for the excellent care Hattie received while she was at Meadow View Senior Living Center.
A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home, Hallstead, Pa. Should friends so desire, expressions of sympathy may take the form of a donation to Meadow View Senior Living Center, Activities Fund, Montrose, Pa. 18801.
