Mary Donlin Obituary
of Hanover, Pa.
Mary Alice Donlin, 88, of Hanover, Pa., and formerly of Montrose, Pa., passed away at Columbia Cottage in Hanover after an extended illness. She was born in Montrose, Pa. to the late Leo and Mary Ellen (Doran) Mahon. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Joy Donlin, Annapolis, Md., Mary Lee and Mike McQuade, Hanover, Pa.; four grandchildren, Patrick (Christine) Donlin, Stockton, Calif., Lt. Michael (Lexie) Donlin, USMC, Michelle (Michael) Dewhirst, Chicago, Ill., Melissa (John) Sarracino, Fairfax, Va.; four great-grandsons, Charles, Lucas, and Andrew Donlin, Matthew Sarracino; numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, William T. Donlin; and brother, James Mahon. Mary Alice was a member of the Holy Name of Mary Church, formerly of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, and was a volunteer for the American Cancer Society. She was a 1st grade teacher for the Lathrop St. Elementary School in Montrose and was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, November 4, 2008, at the Holy Name of Mary Church, with Rev. Gerard F. Safko officiating. Interment will be in the Holy Name of Mary Cemetery. Visitations will be from 7 to 9 p.m., Monday evening at the Daniel K. Regan Funeral Home. Donations in Mary Alice's name can be made to the Asera Care Hospice, 44 Bowman Rd., York, Pa. 17408.

I am so blessed to have such a wondeful , loving and caring Mother in Law.. I am honored to be a part of your faimly for 37 years. I know you are at peace with Bill and no longer in pain. I will miss you.

Mary Lee, Tom and families....I know how much you will miss your Mom/Grandma. One of my favorite memories of her is when she and I were in a fashion show for the Shop on the Corner. She always looked so attactive! We will all miss her.
