Jack Bailey
of Binghamton
Jack Bailey, 69, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday morning, October 29, 2008. He was predeceased by his parents, Mark and Alma Bailey; and two brothers and a sister-in-law, Marlin Bailey and Mark and Arlene Bailey. Survived by his wife, Barbara Bailey, Binghamton; four daughters, Karen Bailey, Ruth Bailey, Jacque (John) Warren, Kim (Eric) Moore; a son, Tim (Lisa) Bailey; three special grandchildren, Chris (Angela) Bailey, Austin and Jacob Bailey; seven other grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; two brothers, Edward and Leonard (Darlene) Bailey; three sisters, Margaret (Jim) Pollen, Sharon (BJ) Denk, and Pam (Tom) Kulas; a sister-in-law, Barbara Bailey; and a loyal friend, Bob Ruby. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. He was an avid NASCAR and Jeff Gordon fan. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a retired machinist for GAF Corporation, JC and an Air Force veteran.
The family will receive friends Saturday 9:30-11 a.m. at the Chopyak-Scheider Funeral Home, 326 Prospect Street, Binghamton, where a funeral service will be offered by the Rev. John R. Martinichio at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospice, 169 Riverside Drive, Binghamton, N.Y. 13905.
