Gino Marca Obituary
of Sayre, Pa.
Gino Marca, 82, of Sayre, Pa., passed away Saturday morning, October 20, 2007, at his home. He was predeceased by his parents, Alex and Rose Marca. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Anne Marca, Sayre, Pa.; his son and daughter-in-law, David and Julie Marca, Wisconsin; his daughter and son-in-law, Laura and Charles Kellogg, Athens, Pa.; two grandsons, Michael and Gayle Kellogg, Kyle and Jamie Kellogg, all of Athens, Pa.; his granddaughter, Kelsey Marca, Wisconsin; his great-grandson, Lucas Kellogg, Athens, Pa.; also many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church, Endicott, a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during WWII, and the former owner/operator of Valley Jewelers, Newark Valley, N.Y.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, 9:30 a.m., from the Leon Pucedo Funeral Home, Inc., 1905 Watson Blvd., Endicott and at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church where a Funeral Mass will be offered. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Pucedo Funeral Home Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in memory of Mr. Marca may be made to the Hospice Program at Guthrie, Ltd.

My sympathy to the Marca family. We always went to Valley Jewelers for gifts, jewelery, watch repair (before quartz), cameras, etc. He was always very helpful. May your memories be a comfort to you.

My deepest sympathy to the whole family. I will always remember when Gino was a jewelery in NV and he had on the window, it's a boy and I thought it said a buy and I went in to see what was a buy. I think your son and my daughter are the same age. He was a great guy.

Gino was very kind to allow me to get my future wife an engagement ring with only a very small down payment. Being only a college senior at the time with very little money, this act of faith in me was very important. May he rest in peace.
