"Don"
of Owego, N.Y.
Donald E. "Don" Chrystler, 79, of Owego, N.Y., passed away on Thursday, October 25, 2007, at Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, Pa. He was born on April 15, 1928, the son of the late Frank and Hattie (Thomas) Chrystler. He was predeceased by one brother, Paul Chrystler; and one sister, Clara Skellenger. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Muriel "Jane" Chrystler; one sister, Frances Kenyon-Souto; several nieces, nephews, and friends. Don enjoyed the outdoors and liked to hunt and fish. He was a member of the Tioga Center United Methodist Church.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 29, 2007, at 1:00 p.m. at Richards Funeral Home, Rt. 17c West, Owego, N.Y. 13827 with Rev. Laurence Mather, Pastor of the Tioga Center United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Tioga Cemetery, Owego, N.Y. Friends are invited to call at Richards Funeral Home on Monday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of services at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations in Don's Memory to the Tioga Center United Methodist Church, Tioga Center, N.Y. 13845. www.RichardsFH.com
