Anne Sabol Obituary

Anne K. Sabol
of Binghamton
Anne K. Sabol passed away after a short illness on Tuesday evening, October 30, 2007, at Lourdes Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband, George Sabol; a son, Philip Sabol; a brother, Michael Kimak; and a sister, Mary and her husband, Marvin Behr. She is survived by two sons, Robert Sabol and his wife, Maxine, Endwell, Gregory Sabol and his wife, Brenda, Columbus, Ohio; a granddaughter, Gina Sabol, Va.; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was a member of the Dormition of the Virgin Mary Orthodox Church. She was a retired employee of Steinbach's, Oakdale Mall.
Funeral services will be held Monday 10 a.m. at the Dormition of the Virgin Mary Orthodox Church, 54 Baxter Street, Binghamton with the Rev. Ilya Gotlinsky officiating. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Gotlinsky will conduct a prayer service 5:30 p.m., Sunday, at the Chopyak-Scheider Funeral Home, 326 Prospect Street, Binghamton where the family will receive friends Sunday 3-6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, kindly consider contributions in Anne's memory to her church.

I couldn't be more sorry if Anne was a relative. She was my landlady for the last 8 yrs. and one of the sweetest, kindnest people I have ever known. I will really, really miss her. God bless her soul, she's at peace now.

I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Anne and always found her to be cheerful and fun to be around. I last saw her at a reunion of employees from Bon-ton a few years ago.
