Agnes A. Kane
of Binghamton
Agnes A. Kane, 87, of Binghamton, died Sunday afternoon, November 4, 2007, at Elizabeth Church Manor. She was predeceased by her husband, Harold F. Kane; an infant son, Robert F. Kane; her parents; and brothers, John and Larry Lynch; son-in-law, Steve F. DiPaolo; and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. She is survived by her children, Anne DiPaolo, Leo and Karen Kane, Louis and Kathy Kane, all of Binghamton; seven grandchildren, Tricia and Jayson Chapman, Anthony, Rob and Dan Kane, Colleen, Julianne and Kevin Kane; her sister, Mary Golden, Binghamton; sister-in-law, Rosita Lynch, Johnson City; several nieces and nephews. Agnes was a member of St. Paul's Church, Binghamton and the Altar Rosary Society. She was a former officer in the Binghamton Firemans Auxiliary. The family wishes to thank the staff of Elizabeth Church Manor, 3rd floor, for the compassionate care and concern shown our mother.
Funeral services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Thursday at 9:30 a.m. and at 10 a.m. at St. Paul's Church, where a Funeral Mass will be offered. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in memory of Agnes may be made to Lourdes Hospice Program, 4102 Old Vestal Rd., Vestal, N.Y. 13850.
